On Monday 5th October, the APPG on Faith and Society held the second Faith Covenant Forum meeting, a virtual roundtable discussion providing an opportunity for Covenant holders to share learning and best practice, particularly with regard to faith-council joint responses to COVID-19. The APPG held a lively panel discussion at Parliament focusing on leadership in religion and politics on 25th February this year. The panel consisted of MPs Stephen Timms (Chair of the APPG), Steve Double (Vice chair of APPG) and we were joined by Gareth Wallace (director of Conservative Christian Fellowship and Christians in Politics). Faith Covenant now covers over 5 million

We are delighted to let you know that over 5 million people now live in areas covered by the Faith Covenant, developed by the APPG. Blackpool Council signs Covenant-inspired Faith Partnership Agreement

On Tuesday 19th September, Blackpool Council and local faith leaders met at the Blackpool Solaris Centre to sign up to new framework for working in partnership, the design of which was inspired by the APPG on Faith and Society’s own Faith Covenant. FaithAction and the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Faith and Society hosted an event in Westminster on Monday 14th November, at the start of Inter Faith Week.
